Louise de Blécourt studied museology (exhibition design & museum communications) and art history (Leiden University). Trade shows happen to be a perfect situation to bundle all lines in an organization to perform for a total experience by the visitor. This has led to the wide field of design manager.

In co-creation with Projectburo Meeter en StigΔ the product Port Center Planning was developed. Louise recognized the market needs for this at cities and ports and therefore took the initiative to join forces.

Also from her original profession as cultural entrepreneur Louise combines branding and arts in projects.

She's curator of the Amrâth Collection and took the initiative for the celebration 100 years Amsterdam School and the celebration Hildo Krop 2020. For the Foundation mr. F.H. Piket, giving annual prizes to artists under 30 years old, she developed the Piket Art Prizes from concept to brand and created the concept for the website and communication planning.

For the Reinwardt Academy Louise lectured for some years about exhibiting (cultural heritage) and design management to students of Exhibition Direction en Cultural Entrepreneurship. She developd a new formula for the international journal Andon for the Society of Japanese Arts.

My approach
The Japanese calligraphy, which is called Shodo, is closely linked to my profession as a design manager where I work a lot with designers and artists. A vital element of both is the ability to constantly change back and forth between focusing on details and keeping an eye on the bigger picture to achieve total harmony. This mirrors my conviction that the core principles that form the essence of partnership and co-creation are reflected in the fusion of authenticity, passion and confidence.
