The origins of the Tourist Trophy on the Isle of Man.

Commissioned by Autovisie for the "Your Garage" section, this video was made by Noël van Bilsen: "A car can be restored, but history cannot be rewritten."
The film explores the history of this car, a 1930 Austin Ulster, as well as its driving, then and now, with driver Valja Mijatovic and navigator Rob Janzen. Preserving rolling heritage means preserving a living piece of history, technology, and culture.

Act 2 of the film report of the first flight from Amsterdam to Batavia, which began on October 1, 1924. On October 3, there was an emergency landing in Philippopel due to engine failure, after which the aircraft arrived in Batavia on November 24. The enthusiastic welcome for the aircraft and crew was immense. This act depicts the arrival in Tjililitan and the reception by Governor-General Fock.
